Quality Sneeze Guards Goes Social

Well, it's about time! We've gone social! Yes, it's true, Quality Sneeze Guards has it's own Facebook page. We wanted to be as hip as the next company who touts their Facebook page. But seriously, by going social, it allows us to get to know our customers, to interact with them in a community format and to dissiminate information in bulk so our Facebook friends can stay on to of all the Sneeze Guard news, to include new product releases and promotions.

High Polish Sneeze Guard Partition Posts

Quality Sneeze Guards introduces the high polished partition post to it's standard product line-up. Up until now, our partition posts where either satin (brushed) finished posts or powder coated. However, we have added the new high polish, mirror finished post as a standard sneeze guard post. The benefits of high polish posts include the ease of polishing and cleaning the product, as well as reducing food contamination. With the satin finished partition posts, there exists a chance that food can fill in the very fine crevices of the posts. However, with a high polished post, there are no gritty, or micro crevices, where food can penetrate and remain, thus creating a potential for contamination.

Soup and Salad Island Sneeze Guard

At Quality Sneeze Guards, we have become known for our custom designed sneeze guards and helping restaurant and food service businesses create solutions for their food service areas. Recently, we where approached by a major food store retailer who wanted to protect their self-serve salad and soup islands within their deli department. The solution was to create custom designed sneeze guards which allowed the front glass panels to swivel upwards, allowing a deli employee to clean the food area as well as restock the food. Once the restocking and cleaning are completed, the glass panels swivel back into place, protecting the food from customers as they serve themselves.

This particular sneeze guard was powder coated black with brass clips to match the interior of the stores deli department. Additionally, we used a non-traditional mount known as a concealed mount. Concealed mounts are used where counter space is limited. In addition, a concealed mount helps prevent food build-up around the base whereas with a flange you would have more areas where food can get caught in, such as around the screw heads, or where the tube leg fits into the flange.
